Overview

In a nutshell: 30 mm wide, polyethylene backed kraft paper banding tape

For use in our BM-Notes banknote banding machine. This is a versatile tape made from kraft paper with a thin PE backing which gives a bonding method as well as providing additional strength.

The bands produced are highly effective at holding lightweight products such as printed paper goods.

There are two methods of production

Flexo printed: Which produces a high quality image in up to four colours. Due to the size of the printing presses, there is a minimum production run which is usually 1 pallet of rolls. In real terms this is 850 to 1000 rolls depending on roll width. Each colour adds £80 to the cost of the tape making it very economical on larger runs.
Digitally printed: This is a full colour process which can produce individual rolls of tape, or 1 Meter samples for instection before a larger production run is started. Due to the cost of the inks this is a more expensive method, but it is much faster as it is printed in-house. The 1 Meter samples we produce for free, and for full roll prices start at £10.
