The BM-115 is a compact desktop banding machine that gives fast and efficient banding, in a light commercial environment.

The stainless steel work table makes this machine equally at home in a warehouse, factory, or even a food enviroment. Ideally suited for items that are roughly A5 in size, typical applications include:

  • leaflets, brochures, cards
  • asparagus, celery, rhubarb
  • multi-buy bundles, gift wrapping

The relatively narrow plastic tape is unobtrusive, especially when the clear version is used, producing a pleasingly tidy finish.

Not really, you could quite comfortably use it in an office environment.

The banding tape must be:

  • Width: 11.4 to 11.5mm
  • Thickness 0.10 to 0.13mm

The machine itself has been designed to work with OPP.
Other materials/tapes may work but there is no guarantee of success.
The use of other materials may invalidate the warranty.

Your banding machine will arrive all set up and ready to go with a starter roll of clear tape installed. Take the machine out of the box, plug it in, and start banding by placing objects to be banded over the sensor.

Options:

  • Plug in the foot pedal, and start banding manually by pressing the foot pedal.
  • Attach the side support, and start banding with extra workspace.

Yes, banding tightness is adjustable from 5 to 50 N.

  • Use the function button and select function 1
  • Use the +/- buttons to select the required tension.
    (1 is the tightest setting, 69 is the least tight)

In automatic operation, a light sensor detects the presence of something to band. Darker objects may not reflect enough light to trigger the sensor. This is when you would use the foot pedal to manually trigger the banding cycle.

Yes it does. Use the AT/MT button to select auto trigger or manual trigger mode.

 

  • In auto mode: The sensor will trigger the banding cycle. You can also trigger the banding cycle manually using the foot pedal.
  • In manual mode: Only the foot pedal will trigger the banding cycle; the sensor will be disabled.
